If you are a person related to a business and the business has applied for a Yoursafe Business Account, you need to complete an identification process. Have your identification document ready!
These are the steps:
STEP 1
If you haven't already downloaded our free Yoursafe App on your phone, please do this now. It's available for Android and iOS. It's free!
STEP 2
Launch the App on your phone.
- If you are the primary user of the Business Account, you have already linked the Yoursafe App to your account. Please use your 5-digit code to log in.
- If you are not the primary user, you will have received a link by email. Open your Yoursafe App and scan the QR code shown when pressing the link.
STEP 3
Now Yoursafe will verify your ID. Please press the button 'Verify your ID'. Yoursafe supports many types of ID, including passports, national ID cards, and driver’s licenses. For the best results, use the ID document you most often use internationally — in most cases, this will be your passport.
Make sure to scan the side of the ID that contains all your personal information.
STEP 4
After the ID scan, you will be asked to complete a few selfie tasks. These may include simple instructions like 'smile' or 'look left'. Ensure you are in a well-lit area when performing these tasks for the best image quality.
STEP 5
You’ve now completed the identification process! Our compliance staff will review your ID and the results of the selfie tasks. We will notify you if any further information is needed.
