To verify your address, Yoursafe typically requires a recent utility bill. However, we understand that not everyone receives traditional utility bills in their name. If you do not have one, you may submit one of the approved alternative documents listed below.
Accepted Alternatives to a Utility Bill
You may upload one of the following documents instead. It must show your full name, residential address, and be dated within the last 3 months:
- A bank statement from a regulated financial institution
- A letter from a government agency (e.g., tax authority, municipality, social services)
- A signed rental agreement or lease contract showing your address
- A proof of registration document from your local municipality
- An official employment contract with your name and residential address
Documents That Are Not Accepted
- Mobile phone bills
- Insurance policies or correspondence
- Handwritten letters or unofficial documents
- Undated or expired documents
- Documents that do not clearly show your full residential address
Document Requirements
- Must be in PDF, JPG, or PNG format
- Must be clearly readable (no blur, shadows, or missing text)
- Must include your full name and full address
- Must be dated within the last 3 months
- Must not be edited
- Must not contain redacted sections
If your document does not meet these requirements, we may ask for a different document or additional verification. All uploads are reviewed by our compliance team to ensure they meet regulatory standards.
