An international wire transfer (also called a SWIFT payment) lets you send money from your Yoursafe account to a bank account outside the SEPA zone — in another country or using a different currency.
Steps to Make an International Wire Transfer
-
Log in to your Yoursafe account using a web browser at: https://you.yoursafe.com
- Go to the Transfer Money menu and select International Wire
- Enter the required recipient bank details:
- Beneficiary Name – the full name of the person or business receiving the funds
- Bank Name and Address – the name and full address of the recipient’s bank
- SWIFT/BIC Code – an international bank identifier (usually 8 or 11 letters); your recipient or their bank can provide this
- Account Number or IBAN – the recipient’s local account number (IBAN format if applicable)
-
Currency and Amount – choose the currency you want to send and enter the exact amount
- Review all information and authenticate the payment as prompted
- Click Submit to send the transfer
Fees and Processing Time
-
Fee: €25 per transaction
-
Processing Time: Normally 4 to 5 business days, depending on the recipient country and bank
Before You Send
- Double-check all details — incorrect info may cause delays, extra fees, or returned payments
- If you’re unsure about any details, ask the recipient to confirm their full bank instructions
- Ensure your Yoursafe account has enough funds to cover the transfer + €25 fee
