If you have a Yoursafe YOU Account and need to update your debit card PIN, you can do this quickly through the webportal or via the Yoursafe App.
Steps to Change Your PIN via the Webportal
- Log in to your Yoursafe account at: https://you.yoursafe.com
- Go to the “Debit Card” section:
- Via a web browser: Click your initials in the top-right corner and choose Debit Card
- Click “Change PIN”
- Choose your new PIN code
- Do not use simple or repeated numbers, like 1234, 4321, or 1111
- Use a unique and secure 4-digit combination
- If your PIN is rejected, try a more secure variation
- Approve the security prompt
- A push notification will appear inside your Yoursafe app
- You will not receive a text message (SMS)
- Open the Yoursafe app and approve the notification
- Confirm your PIN at any ATM
- Visit an ATM and complete a basic transaction (e.g. balance inquiry)
- This step activates your new PIN
Steps to Change Your PIN via the App
- Open the Yoursafe app on your device
- Tap the “Cards” tab at the bottom of the screen
- Tap “Set PIN”
- This is the middle option in the row of card actions beneath your card image
- Review the PIN information screen and tap “Continue”
- Enter your new 4-digit PIN using the on-screen keypad
- Do not use simple or repeated numbers, like 1234, 4321, or 1111
- Use a unique and secure 4-digit combination
- Confirm your PIN by entering the same 4-digit code again on the next screen
- A confirmation screen will display “Successfully set new PIN”
