If you are a YOU account holder and you can’t remember the email address linked to your Yoursafe account and are unable to log in, don’t worry! There is a secure process in place to help you recover access to your account.
Please Note:
Due to regulatory requirements and our commitment to protecting your personal and financial information, we cannot provide hints or partial details about your email address. Instead, we follow a verified process to confirm your identity and update your account.
Step-by-Step: How to Recover Your Account in 3 Steps
1. Send Us a Request from Your New Email Address
Please send an email to accounthelp@yoursafe.com from the email address you’d like to use going forward. Let us know you’ve forgotten your original email and would like to recover access to your account.
2. Log In and Verify Your Identity
We will email you the next steps:
- If you don’t know your password, reset it on the password reset page using your new email address.
- Link the Yoursafe app again at you.yoursafe.com/link-app.
- Complete “Verify your identity with an ID scan” at the top of your homepage. The scan includes a valid ID document (passport, ID card or driver’s license) and a selfie.
Your ID must match the details on file from when you first created your account.
3. Security Checks
Until this check is done, you cannot send money from your account.
- Our team checks that your ID scan matches our records.
- If it matches, you can use your account normally again.
- If we cannot verify your identity (for example, the name or date of birth does not match), we cannot give access to the account.
