How do I Open a Yoursafe account?

To open a Yoursafe YOU Account, you'll need to download and use the Yoursafe App. This app is required to complete your registration and verify your identity.

Step-by-Step: Opening Your Account

1. Navigate to you.yoursafe.com/register and fill out the new account signup form.
2. Once the form is submitted you will receive an email asking you to confirm your email address
3. Click on "Confirm Email" 

4. Download the Yoursafe App via the Apple App Store or Google Play.

   

   

5. Scan the QR code with the Yoursafe App.
6. Scan your ID
   1. You will receive a request in the Yoursafe App to "Validate Your Identity" 
      1. Make sure you have a valid, government-issued ID ready
      2. Yoursafe supports over 1,700 types of identity documents
7. Complete the Biometric ID Check
   1. Use the app to scan your ID document
   2. Follow the instructions for facial recognition and liveness detection

         2. Remove hats, glasses, or wigs
         3. Hold your phone steady
8. Manual Screening
   1. After your biometric check, your registration will go through a manual review by the Yoursafe team
   2. This is a standard part of the onboarding process to ensure everything is in order
   3. Please allow up to 48 hours for your account to be approved
   4. Most reviews are completed sooner, as Yoursafe support operates 24/7
