What is a Yoursafe You account?

A Yoursafe YOU account is a personal account designed for individuals. Companies and organizations cannot open a YOU Account — it’s only for people.

There is no cost to open a YOU Account. Yoursafe does not charge monthly or annual fees. You only pay for the transactions you make, based on standard usage fees.

Who Is It For?

Whether you are a musician, vlogger, video artist, influencer, or adult talent, the YOU Account is made for you. It’s a flexible option for individuals earning or spending money internationally.

Local Currency View, Euro Security

Your balance is shown in your local currency (e.g. EUR, USD, COP), so you always know exactly how much you have. But your actual funds are securely held in euro (EUR) at the European Central Bank.

All incoming and outgoing transactions are shown in the original currency and amount. This makes it easy to track and verify your payments.

A Regulated Payment Account

The YOU Account is a Basic Payment Account — similar to a European bank account. Yoursafe Payments is a licensed electronic money institution and is supervised by the Dutch Central Bank (DNB).

How to Get Verified

To open a YOU Account, you need to verify your identity using the Yoursafe App (available for iOS and Android).

The app will ask you to:

• Scan an official ID (passport is preferred)
• Complete a selfie check using facial recognition

Yoursafe matches your face with the ID photo using biometric verification.

Optional Debit Card

Once your account is verified, you may choose to apply for a Yoursafe Debit Card.
