For YOU account holders, Yoursafe may need to verify your registered address. This is done by checking official records and reviewing a recent utility bill that shows your name and address.
But what is considered a utility bill?
Accepted Utility Bills
Yoursafe only accepts the following types of utility bills:
- Water
- Gas and Electricity
- Landline Telephone
- Cable TV/Internet
Not Accepted
The following documents are NOT accepted as utility bills:
- Mobile phone bills
- Insurance bills
- Bank statements or rental agreements
What Your Utility Bill Should Include
- Your full name
- Your full residential address (must match your Yoursafe account)
- Date (issued within the last 3 months)
- The type of utility service (e.g., water, electricity)
Make sure the bill is clear, readable, and in PDF or image format when uploading. If your bill does not meet the above criteria, it may be rejected.
