Your Sponsored account and Yoursafe Debit Card are designed to be safe, simple, and low-cost.
Most of the time, using your card is completely free — but some limits and small costs may apply, depending on your Sponsor’s rules.
What is free
Most things you do with your Yoursafe Card are free of charge, including:
- Paying in shops or supermarkets
- Paying online (if your Sponsor allows it)
- Checking your balance in the Yoursafe App or on the website
- Receiving your benefit money from your Sponsor
You don’t pay any monthly account fees. The Yoursafe program is made to help you manage your support money safely and easily.+
When there may be a fee
Sometimes there might be a small fee, depending on your Sponsor:
- ATM withdrawals – There might be a small cost for taking out cash.
- Replacement cards – If your card is lost several times, you may have to pay for a new one.
- Foreign payments – If you use your card outside the Eurozone, a small exchange fee may apply.
Some fees are defined in Yoursafe’s system, but your Sponsor decides which of them apply to your account.
You can always ask your Sponsor for details about the fees and limits that apply to you.
Limits on your card
To keep your account safe and follow local rules, there may be limits such as:
- ATM withdrawal limits – How much cash you can take out per day or month.
- Spending limits – The total amount you can spend in one day.
- Shop or category restrictions – Some types of shops or purchases (for example, alcohol or gambling) may not be allowed.
These limits are managed by your Sponsor, not by Yoursafe.
Tips
- Check your Yoursafe App before making large payments.
- If your card doesn’t work, it might be because of a limit — contact your Sponsor for help.
- Ask your Sponsor if you want to know more about your card’s rules, fees, or limits.
In short
- Most things are free when using your Yoursafe Card.
- Some actions, like cash withdrawals, may have small fees.
- There are limits to protect your money and follow local rules.
- Your Sponsor can explain the specific rules and fees that apply to your account.
