Your Sponsored account is the secure place where your Sponsor sends your benefit money.
Your Sponsor is the organization that manages your payments — for example, your local government, municipality, or social service office.
How you receive money
- Your Sponsor sends money to your Yoursafe ABC Account using a normal bank transfer.
- When the money arrives, it appears in your account automatically.
- You can then use your Yoursafe card to pay in shops, online, or withdraw cash (depending on your Sponsor’s rules).
You don’t need to do anything — the transfer happens directly between your Sponsor and Yoursafe.
When you receive money
Your payment schedule depends on your Sponsor.
Each Sponsor decides:
- How often money is sent (for example, weekly or monthly)
- On which day the transfer is made
- How much money is added each time
Yoursafe does not decide the amount or timing of payments — that is managed by your Sponsor.
How to check your balance
You can always see when your money arrives:
- In the Yoursafe App or on the website, your balance updates as soon as the transfer is completed.
- You can also see a list of recent transactions, showing when and how money was added to your account.
If you don’t receive money
If you expected a payment but it didn’t arrive:
- Wait a few hours — sometimes bank transfers take extra time.
- Check your Yoursafe App to see if the transfer is still processing.
- If the money still doesn’t appear, contact your Sponsor office directly.
Yoursafe cannot change or resend benefit payments. Only your Sponsor can do that.
In short
- Your Sponsor sends money directly to your Yoursafe ABC Account.
- You can see the payment immediately in your App or online.
- Payment dates and amounts are decided by your Sponsor.
- If something looks wrong, contact your Sponsor — not Yoursafe — for payment questions.
