Your Sponsored account helps you receive and use your support money safely.
To keep your money and personal information protected, it’s important to use your card and app carefully.
Here are some simple steps to help keep your account safe.
Protect your PIN
- Never share your PIN code with anyone — not even with your Sponsor or Yoursafe staff.
- Don’t write your PIN down or keep it with your card.
- If someone else learns your PIN, contact your Sponsor immediately.
- If you forget your PIN, you can request a new one through your Sponsor (not through the app).
Keep your card safe
- Treat your Yoursafe card like cash — keep it in a safe place.
- Don’t give your card to other people, even family or friends.
- If your card is lost or stolen, contact your Sponsor office right away.
- A new card will be sent to you, and your money will stay safe in your account.
Use your app safely
- Only download the official Yoursafe App from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Don’t click on links in text messages or emails that ask for your details.
- Always log out when you finish using the app, especially on shared phones.
Watch your account regularly
- Check your balance often using the Yoursafe App or website.
- Look for payments you don’t recognize — if you see something strange, tell your Sponsor immediately.
Keep your phone and app up to date with the latest software updates.
Be careful of scams
Be alert for anyone who:
- Promises to “help you” access your money faster
- Asks for your PIN or login details
- Tries to take your card to “buy something for you”
If this happens, say no and tell your Sponsor. Yoursafe will never ask for your PIN or password.
In short
- Keep your PIN and card private.
- Use only the official Yoursafe App.
- Check your balance regularly.
- Contact your Sponsor if you lose your card or notice something unusual.
Protecting your card and account keeps your support money safe and available when you need it most.
