For Sponsored accounts, your Yoursafe Card is a Visa debit card that helps you use your benefit money safely and easily.
It is connected to your ABC Account (Alias Budget Card Account) — the place where your Sponsor sends your money.
Where you can use your card
You can use your Yoursafe card anywhere Visa is accepted, depending on your Sponsor’s rules:
- In shops or supermarkets – Pay for food, clothes, or daily needs.
- Online – Some Sponsors allow you to pay online for approved items.
- At ATMs – You can take out cash (your Sponsor may limit how often or how much).
- Cashback in stores – In some places, you can get cash when you pay at a large shop’s register.
Always keep your receipts and check your balance in the Yoursafe App to make sure everything is correct.
How payments work
- Your Sponsor sends money to your Yoursafe ABC Account.
- The money is available on your card once it arrives.
- You can then use your card just like a normal bank card.
- Every payment is automatically recorded — you can see all your transactions in the Yoursafe App or website.
There are no overdrafts — this means you can only spend the money that is in your account.
Possible restrictions
Some Sponsors add limits or rules to keep the program safe and fair. These can include:
- A limit on how much you can withdraw from an ATM each month.
- Certain shops or types of products may not be allowed (for example, alcohol or gambling).
- Some online payments may be blocked for security reasons.
These rules are decided by your Sponsor, not by Yoursafe. If you have questions about restrictions, please contact your Sponsor directly.
Tips for using your card
- Always check your balance before making a payment.
- Keep your card in a safe place and never give it to someone else.
- If a payment fails, wait a few minutes and try again — or check the Yoursafe App for updates.
- Report lost or stolen cards immediately to protect your money.
In short
Your Yoursafe card is a safe and easy way to use your benefit money.
You can pay in shops, withdraw cash, and manage your balance — all while staying protected and in control.
